Reading 06

 For this weeks reading task, we finally begin to write our chapter of the book. We are to take our five chosen themes from last week and begin to write around 4-6 paragraphs of at least 5 sentences. Ensuring that each paragraph has an intro sentence, 2-4 sentences, one supporting sentence, and a conclusion sentence. 

We were also tasked with watching a video "Writing skills: The Paragraph." which essentially teaches us the skills of writing a paragraph. This video was super helpful in explaining how to do so. Sometimes the most simple things, such as writing a paragraph can be super confusing and complicated, especially when you haven't wrote academic pieces in a few years, so this video was a great refresher.

After I finished the video I got started on writing my paragraphs, I found this quite difficult as writing is definitely not one of my favourite things and something I've always disliked through education, but as I feel i'm passionate about my chosen topic it made writing and learning about it a lot easier for me. 

I just hope that it is up to standard and hopefully when I get feedback for it I can improve it and make it better.

  Traffic Light This week for the project research we were asked to choose our favourite idea from the brainstorm last week and continue researching that idea to further see if it would be a game we would enjoy making. From my brainstorming last week the idea I think I would enjoy the most and also be the most capable of making is the traffic light game. After re-reading my brainstorm post and considering all ideas I think this was the most structured and planned idea and would work well for this project.  Since my last post I've further researched this idea and thought of more ideas for it. An Introduction to me!

  This is me! Hello and welcome to my introduction post, to begin my name is Mary McGee, I am 20 years old and I am from Carpenterstown, Dublin. I am a Cancer sun, Sagittarius moon, Leo rising and yes I love astrology!  I would say I have a lot of hobbies but something that I have always been super fascinated by is travel. Thanks to covid... I haven't done as much travelling as I would have liked to but some of the places I've been to and loved are Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Rome, Florence, Milan, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Lisbon, Munich, Brussels, Greece, Egypt, The US and so on... with my favourite being Florence. I find travelling is an amazing way to learn and experience different cultures and places whilst also meeting new people and having fun! Designing a game This week for the project task we had to make a Game Design Document, I used Dundoc   to create mine. This website had an amazing layout to use which made making the document a lot easier to fill out. I feel I have a lot more insight going in to making my game now.
